This qualification provides a nationally recognised trade outcome, covering work in residential and commercial applications.

To qualify for the RPL pathway, it is recommended that you:

• Possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in the  Swimming Pool and Spa field, encompassing related tasks within the industry.
• Are at least 18 years old. Younger students may face challenges in meeting RPL criteria, as the process relies on acquiring knowledge and skills through life, work, and study experiences.

If a student is unable to demonstrate competence in certain units required to complete the qualification, they are offered a customised Gap Training program to help them gain the necessary skills. This program can be tailored to meet their individual needs and circumstances. The RPL Fee includes up to 4 units of Gap Training, but additional units may require additional fees.

Upon enrolment, your dedicated assessor will provide comprehensive guidance throughout the evidence collection process. Rest assured, this process can be efficiently completed within limited timeframes, and you’ll receive continuous support from start to finish.

Evidence for RPL may include:

• Relevant work experience that has been proven and verified
• Life experiences, including voluntary work, leisure pursuits, or other activities that have helped develop skills and knowledge
• Previous academic or professional achievements, such as completed qualifications, industry training, or professional development programs
• References from qualified individuals who can attest to your skills and experience
